Women working in the UK earn on average 23% less than men. The conviction rate for rape is 6.5%. During the 1990s the number of men paying for sex acts doubled.

Nothing wrong with jumping ship. I did it for 10 years. I'd do it again, if it wasn't that making friends in England takes so much work I'd resent it if it had all been wasted.

Sorry to heap misery upon misery. My friend Sarah works for the people trafficking unit of the Home Office, and always feels she has to apologise for working for "the pigs", but seriously. I have no friend with a more admirable job.
